In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I want to express my gratitude to so many of you who have supported me on my small business journey. I'm so grateful to be able to create art and share the beauty in life and I couldn't do it without the support of those of you who follow, comment, like, and buy from Birds and Berry Studio. When you shop handmade, you're not only getting a one of a kind product, you're also making the day of someone who put a lot of love into creating it. So thank you!
And in the interest of fostering community over competition, I want to share some wonderful makers that I've followed and bought from over the years in the form of a gift guide to help you jump start your holiday shopping (click on the underlined titles to be taken to the shops). Plus, read through to the end for an exclusive email sale code you can use to shop Birds and Berry Studio!
For the Chef
June and December towel - So many beautiful designs in this shop.
Elements Truffles - Since I started cleaning up my diet this summer, I have fallen in love with these "healthy chocolates". These aren't just for the chef, but for everyone!
Cutting Boards - I love the new products Society6 is coming out with.
Hello Fresh - I'm actually not a big fan of cooking, but these delivered meal prep kits are healthy, delicious, and take the stress out of cooking.
Refrigerator Magnets - I might be biased since these are from my shop, but these little magnets are such a fun way to brighten up the kitchen and hang up photos or recipes.
For the Reader
Tea - These hand-crafted teas would be a perfect addition to cozying up with a good book.
Mug from Carrot Top Paper Shop - Put that tea in a sweet mug or shop any of the literary themed art and products.
Bookmarks - These are my creation too! As an avid reader, I had to create a little art to hold your place in a book.
Candle - This is a fellow maker friend of mine from Wyoming. I cannot get enough of her candles!
I'd Rather be Reading - Anne Bogel has a podcast about reading and has writing a couple of books including I'd Rather Be Reading about the reading life. Give her a listen and be inspired!
For the Beauty Guru
Lucky Tree - This husband and wife team in Montrose creates some beautiful sustainable bamboo jewelry.
Sojourner Handmade - I love the simple earrings from this little handmade shop.
Willow Way Crochet - I ordered a custom created hat from Willow Way recently and I'm pretty sure I'll be living in it this winter. So soft and beautiful!
Makeup Bag - These little pouches are great for stashing your beauty products when you're traveling. There are a bunch of designs to choose from in my Society6 shop.
Sneedsboro Soap - How sweet would these gift collections be for Christmas gifts?
For the Nature Lover
Field Notes - A sweet way to take nature notes or sketch on a nature hike.
Katie Daisy- If you love nature, you have to follow Katie Daisy. She created these adorable butterfly stickers and much more.
Cavallini & Co. - The posters and paper products this company creates bring nature indoors.
Drawstring bag - Remember to keep close to nature's heart when you go out on a hike with this little bag to stash your valuables.
Wildflower Cards - I'm so inspired by the western wildflowers and I created a little card set to share the beauty of where I live.
For the Homemaker
Olive and Pearl Candles - When I lived in Cody, WY, this brick and mortar store was one of my favorite places to shop. Audrey's candles are amazing and her style is so classic and calming.
Throw Pillows - I'm a big fan of simple changes to spruce up decor. No need to paint walls or pull up carpet when you can add a new rug, some cozy blankets, and a pillow or two.
Magnets - These little magnets I created that would be perfect for an office space, kids room, or kitchen. It's a fun way to add a little art to a room.
Art - Speaking of art, you guys know I can't do a post like this without suggesting my art at least a little bit. I also love creating art with inspiration from you with my custom art.
Grove Collaborative - I love the natural cleaning and home products from Grove. Check them out if you want to go green this year.
For the Kids
Mirus Toys - Not having children myself, I might be a little devoid of inspiration for this category, but I have to share a shop I found on Etsy with beautiful wooden educational toys. Oh my word! You'll be amazed. I kind of want to buy something even without kids.
From Birds and Berry Studio, that's me - I just wanted to remind you all of the new Christmas products I'm offering in my Etsy shop. Gift tags, sticker tags, so many cards, and wood slice ornaments this year. This was a fun collection to create!
These are always great for Christmas and especially that hard-to-shop-for person in your life.
Amy MacCready - My sister created some personalizable Christmas cards this year with her creative print-making art.
Custom art - Don't forget about the custom pet portraits, bridal bouquet art, custom address labels, and house portraits that I do.
Happy shopping and thanks so much for supporting handmade this holiday!
